Autorităţile din Indonezia au ordonat evacuarea a încă 100.000 de oameni de pe Insula Bali, unde vulcanul Mont Agung se pregăteşte să erupă. 40.000 şi-au părăsit deja casele, dar de ieri gradul de alertă a fost ridicat la nivel maxim, zona de siguranţă a fost extinsă la 10 kilometri şi principalul aeroport al insulei, folosit anual de milioane de turişti a fost închis. Vulcanul aruncă o coloană înaltă de fum şi cenuşă, iar cutremurele se simt permanent, semn că o erupţie majoră este iminentă, potrivit Biroului indonezian pentru gestionarea catastrofelor.
